Preparing the Rice

Basic Sushi Rolling Technique

Continue rolling, using the mat to shape and tighten the roll as you go. When you reach the end, wet the bare edge of nori with water and press to seal the roll.

Cutting and Serving

Now that you have your perfectly rolled sushi, it’s time to serve it up! Wet your sharp knife with water and make sure to wipe it off between every cut to prevent the rice from sticking.
